Use this when Relay is missing from the toolbar, the store install fails, or a supported browser needs setup.
Use this for upgrade status, Stripe receipts, plan limits, or a Pro feature that does not appear after syncing.
Ask for a coordinated reporting path before sending technical details. Keep the first message minimal and non-sensitive.
For install, sync, billing, account, or security help, email support@relayextension.com. Include the browser, Relay version shown in Settings, what you were trying to do, and the exact visible error.
Relay support will never ask for your password, Recovery Kit, passkey biometrics, full bookmark export, or payment-card details.

- Your Relay recovery key or Recovery Kit.
- Full bookmark exports.
- Stripe card details.
- Sensitive URLs or screenshots containing sensitive bookmarks.
Relay never stores a readable recovery key. If every passkey and the Recovery Kit are lost, Relay cannot decrypt or recover the vault.
Quick answers
No. A reset path would require a decryption backdoor. Relay intentionally does not have one.
Use Relay's share, copy, or download action and choose a private destination you trust. Relay's servers never receive the recovery secret, and support will never ask you to send it.
Yes, in a compatible Chromium build. Apple Passwords can sync the passkey across Apple devices, and Relay attaches it to the same username used for sharing. Firefox uses the Recovery Kit password in its first release.
Exports can contain sensitive URLs and readable titles. A small error message is usually safer and more useful.
Browser name, Relay version, Free or Pro status, the action that failed, and the exact visible error.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Relay support can help connect a Pro status issue to the right vault context.
Security reports
For suspected vulnerabilities, ask for a coordinated reporting path first. Send a minimal, non-sensitive reproduction. Do not include exploit playbooks, secrets, vault data, or full bookmark exports in the first message.
