Choose a username and password, save the private Recovery Kit using a trusted app or location, and add a passkey if your device supports Relay's secure passkey flow. Relay encrypts bookmark contents before anything reaches the server, then opens the sync dashboard.

Relay is built for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers that support the extension APIs Relay needs.

Your username is both the account identity and sharing handle. A passkey is the normal login; the Recovery Kit is the fallback.

The Chrome Web Store is the normal distribution path, so updates arrive through the browser platform.
