No email account

Bookmark sync without another identity graph.

Relay is for people who want the convenience of sync without requiring a Google account, email profile, analytics SDK, or readable cloud copy of their bookmark library.

What Relay asks for instead

A username

Relay uses a username flow so bookmark sync does not need an email identity as its foundation.

A Recovery Kit, plus optional passkeys

The password saved in your Recovery Kit works in every supported client. Compatible Chromium browsers can also add an optional passkey; Firefox does not use passkeys in its first release.

Bookmark permission

The extension needs bookmark access to read, compare, preserve folders, and apply changes in the browser.

Storage permission

Relay keeps local browser identity, session state, plan cache, and sync metadata in browser storage.
